Welcome

Life can bring great suffering.  We can be overwhelmed with grief.  We get stuck in old patterns and ways of doing things.  We create and maintain unhealthy stories and beliefs about ourselves. We get lost in the need to be busy in our minds and in our bodies.  We struggle with our relationships and lose hope that they can be different. We suffer trying to change the things we cannot. We spend most of our time avoiding and escaping discomfort. We start to accept that our lives and our relationships will always be painful.  We look outside of ourselves to find peace and happiness.  We are left feeling empty, sad, anxious, and depleted. We crave balance, clarity, self-awareness and simplicity.

At some point we begin to wonder if things can be different. Something from deep within reminds us of our ability to heal and evolve. We have parts of us that are desperate for change, while other parts of us resist because it feels scary, dangerous, hard or uncomfortable.

Change IS hard. It requires patience, strength, grace, and forgiveness. It requires hope and the ability to look deeply into ourselves. It requires trust that although our pain can feel immeasurable, we CAN heal.  It requires us to make a connection to our mind, our body, and our Spirit.   It requires gentleness, self compassion, and courage.  It requires stubbornness and takes PRACTICE!  It requires support... from our families, our friends, our communities, and most importantly OURSELVES.
